Further Big Price Cut on AM5 at Newegg, Amazon, B&H Photo, and probably others 7950x @ $550-$555 and 7900x @ $474

5800X3D is faster than the 5950X in gaming - full stop.

It trades blows with the current king - the 13900K.

Oh - 4090 and bottleneck? Nah. At least no more than any other CPU!

It’s time for all to realize the 5800X3D rules.
No one said the 5800X3D wasn't a top notch cpu, settle down :). Check out babeltechreviews charts and you can see even with a top cpu, some games like Spider-Man get cpu bottlenecks at 4k .

The 5950X was being touted as a better choice for gaming - which just is not true.

Im not concerned - I’ve got a 7950X now in my main which will go to my sons box once the 7xxxX3D releases.

Microcenter has the 7900x for 439 and it still includes the free ram. Tempted to return my 7700x for the 7900x but I'm itx and the temps I have to deal with make it not worth the trip and hassle
I picked up an Asus TUF x670e, 7900x and got the free 32 GB DDR5 6000 modules for $740 at MicroCenter. Great deal.
