Fudzilla: AMD Navi Is No High-End GPU

    Look at what amd has done with the zen die +4 on a pcb and you got an eypc server part with 32c 128t navi is the gpu that takes that "zen" idea and applies it to gpu's

    It was clear that they wanted their VLIW arch to lead the way to 64bit and beyond. They even put emulators in for IA32. Had they been able to scale the tech- and actually make compilers for it- they might have succeeded.

    I could be wrong, but I think I read a long time ago, that the main reason they created itanium was to eventually release on desktops and since it wasn't a x86 cpu, they wouldn't have to provide a license to AMD, Cyrix, etc.
