I never upgraded the HD. Looks pretty simple. I just never ran out of space. I am a recording janitor.
 
The Mini's stream via Ethernet from the Premiere? So as long as the other rooms have connectivity to the same home router, it's all good?

Yes they do. That is how I had mine connected. Worked great.
