Those GV50-VT's are excellent mid-range gaming laptops. I know 2 people with them and they play everything thrown at them far better than my old Gateway P-6860FX.

Amen, this thing was a beast when I was gaming on the go. Loved this machine!

1. How's the battery life on the laptop?
2. How did the crack get there?

Whoops, missed this reply.

1. Running Win7 and OCing, the laptop lasts about 2 hours on battery. I kept the plug w/ me mostly. If you're doing simple tasks, no OCing, and watching your screen brightness, it'll last about 3 hours.
2. Had it in my book bag on the way to class, tripped and fell. Poor guy took a ding right on the corner. This was like a month after I had it, which really pissed me off, but it ran great for the next two years! I was impressed.
