Unshielded twisted pair (UTP) category 5e cable for use in horizontal cabling systems as described in ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B. The cable consists of #24 AWG solid bare copper insulated conductors, assembled into four tightly twisted pairs, with a ripcord, under an overall jacket. Print includes descending footage markers from 1000 to 0 on each 1000ft reel or box. This product and/or its manufacture is covered by US patent nos. 5424491 and 5563377 (PL).
This riser non-plenum rated cable is for use as a vertical run in a shaft and for general purpose communications use in accordance with Article 800 of the NEC. The cable is ETL (USA) and cETL (Canada) listed for this application by passing UL 1666 riser cable flammability test.
Supported applications include IEEE 802.3 10Base-T (Ethernet), 100Base-T (Fast Ethernet), and 1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet), ANSI.X3.263 FDDI TP-PMD, IEEE 802.5 4 and 16 Mbps token Ring, ATM up to 155 Mbps. Referenced electricals are sweep tested to 100Mhz. It should also support the new 2.5GBase-T (2.5Gbit Ethernet) as well as 5GBase-T (5Gbit Ethernet).

We're replacing a bunch of this unused cable with fibre. This cable was previously run, but never used. It has been cut to various lengths between 10ft to over 100ft since it was previously installed and has been rolled up properly for easy transport (no kinks or other harsh treatment that can result in problems later).
Usually this type of cable goes for around 17 cents a foot, but since we were just going to throw thousands of feet of this perfectly good cable away, I thought I'd see if someone out there wants a bargain on cable for a small office or home install. If so, feel free to call or text. If you have some computer parts to trade, that would be fine too. I really just don't want to have to throw something like this away, so almost any offer will be considered.
