I have a Samsung 850 EVO 2 TB for sale that is still in the box. I wanted it to help store my random downloads and my porn collection, but VR porn killed that and I need more space. I ended up getting a 4 TB model.

An 860 EVO is here for $650:https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Inch...F8&qid=1523722595&sr=8-2&keywords=850+evo+2tb

An 850 EVO is here for $799 (WTF?): https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-75E2T0B-AM/dp/B010QD6W9I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1523722595&sr=8-3&keywords=850+evo+2tb&th=1

I'd like $450 shipped, which I think is more than fair given that it has never even been outside the box. I'll try to follow with a picture or two, but again, it's pretty simple...it's in the box, seal is still on, so there is not much to look at. Or make an offer....

Since this is now a thing....

SSD is taking the place of my current 3 TB HD. It's for downloads and being a temporary holding spot, and then storing all the VR porn and anything else I want local. The VR video watching program seems to want things to be local, so that's my constraint there and why I'm beefing that up. Depending on how long I use the temporary save spot, the usage there goes up over 2 TB and I'd like to be a little more future-ready.

Reason I'm going SSD is I have a Synology DS1812+, but am moving to a DS1817+ (the 12 doesn't take 10 TB drives) and the DS1817+ has a port that lets you plug in a 10 GBe card. So that sounds really fun. So I bought an Asus 10 GBe switch and 10 GBe cards for my computer and DS1817+ because I want to be able to transfer stuff to my server at 500+ MB/sec. Do I need that? No. Is it stupidly expensive for what I will be getting? Yes. But I really, really want to move all my stuff to my server at 500+ MB/sec instead of 110 MB/sec (current gigabit connection). Someone help me offset this stupid waste of money, please!

Haven't made a FS thread in forever and only willing to do a quick scan through the new rules, but I think I'm okay so BUMP.

People who have PMed me want to use the Micron 2 TB SSD deals as a point of reference to lowball me. And that's fine, I guess, but I'm not selling a Micron, so I haven't accepted any of those offers.
