AppleCare on this machine is still active until March 20, 2014.
This laptop is in excellent condition and has been greatly cared for since its purchase. It has no visible scuffs and everything works flawlessly. The 500GB hard drive was replaced about a year ago with a Crucial M4 256GB SSD. The SSD has been completely wiped and restored with a fresh copy of Mountain Lion. So when you first power on the system, you will be prompted to setup the machine.
This laptop also comes with the following extras:
- Magic Mouse
- Car/Airplane power adapter
- 8GB Corsair laptop memory (not pictured)
AppleCare has been used twice on this machine: 1) To repair the trackpad that the geniuses broke when they opened it up to diagnose a memory problem. This resulted in the entire keyboard/top area to be replaced. (approx 6 months ago) 2) To replace the battery that needed service. So this machine has a BRAND NEW battery.
