Just a note for anyone in the southern states, those Garmins shutdown in high heat to keep the battery from exploding.
I had to get one with a super capacitor instead, only took about 90 deg outside temp to cause it even though I'm in a parking garage at work, 10 minutes into my trip home it'd shutoff.
