The 3700x is a great CPU! Returned my 5600x for a 3700x after having too many strange errors due to an immature bios on my b550 MB. Dropped in the 3700x and it works like a dream.

Yeah. Its too bad AMD f*cked up the 5 series releases with the pricing scheme. I actually upgraded to a 5600X from the 3700X but I was hesitant because I really did want to keep 8-cores. The 3700X was definitely faster in benchmarks in non-gaming stuff. Oh well. I didnt want to pay $500 after tax for an 8-core cpu, ridiculous.
