For sale is my DYI server/NAS (used for couple of years as test bench). Asking price is $xxx. Payment - PAYPAL (verified address only). Shipping not included and probably very expensive (around $50). Local pickup preferred. Configuration is below.
OS - Window Server 2012 R2 Foundation
CPU - Intel XEON X3430 2.4Ghz
Motherboard - Supermicro X8SIL-F
Case - LIAN LI PC-A71B*** (full tower with 13 3.5" internal bays - 7+3 front and 3 rear top). Wheels.
Memory - Kingston ECC 8Gb (2 x 4Gb)
RAID - Intel RS2BL080 (same as LSI MegaRAID 9260-8i) - RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60
PSU - Cooler Master 500W
OS Drive - 120Gb SSD (generic)
Backup for OS - Seagate 2.5" 500Gb
WD Green 2TB x 4 - set up as 6TB RAID 5
***3 front 120mm Lian Li fans. Back - 2 120mm Lian Li fans (1 blue, 1 black). Two 140mm Lian Li blue fans on top (I drilled top holes so they are not perfect). Front 6 fan controller.
All Green drives passed WD diagnostics.
Case is in OK condition. What you see is what you get. One side panel has acoustic material ripped (shown below).
Everything is setup and working. You don't even need keyboard/mouse/monitor - just connect to your network (two cables) and control everything via Supermicro IPMI (mine was stored in a basement).
