Probably gonna get one or two to play around with and maybe replace the included woofer somewhere down the line. Gonna have two 2.0 speaker setups that can use a sub, and these ought to fit the bill perfectly.

Inwin microatx desktop case with 240w psu $29.99 shipped free

In the recent past most if not all inwin psu's were FSP group and above average quality. Not sure if that still is the case today (pardon the pun). I have no idea how loud the psu is, but i'm sure it wouldn't be hard to swap fans. It also appears to have a cpu ventilation duct.

Heck i may buy one for the hell of it ;)

Mine arrived and I've built a machine into it. In general I like it. Quick summary:

Pros:
Sturdy chassis
Surprisingly quiet (nowhere near silent, but I was still impressed)
Decent access for the small size
Tasteful use of a blue LED (holy hell, I didn't know it could happen)

Cons:
Flimsy 3.5" door that could get in the way of bigger USB devices
CD drive door required some lube to get it to close all the way on its own
Power supply makes a very low level hum even when it's off, only detectable within a few inches of the case.

All in all, I'm very happy with this $30. I think I'll turn it into a carputer.

WinTV-PVR-150MCE, No FM Tuner, OEM, PN: 26692 - $49.95
Beyond TV 4 / PVR-150MCE-NOFM Bundle - $99.95
SageTV 4.1 / PVR-150MCE-NOFM / NVIDIA DVD Decoder Bundle - $99.95

Pcalchemy.com has acquired several hundred WinTV-PVR-150MCE cards that do not have the FM tuner. These cards were originally manufactured for a large OEM and used as the second tuner in the OEM's Media Center systems.

As long as you do not need the FM capability They work great with MCE, SageTV, and Beyond TV, and any other application that is compatible with the WinTV-PVR-150MCE card.
$50 PVR150 for the win. :)

Over at HTPCnews.com, they have posted a code for 10% your total purchase at PC Alchemy until 12/31/05.

Use this with the $50 150MCE = $45 hardware capture card. Hot imo. The fusion5 lite can be yours for $90 as well. Very good deals.

Yes, these deals are very tempting.

Now I need to decide Hauppauge (std-def) vs. Fusion5 (hi-def). :)

Edit: Here's the link for "DVICO FusionHDTV5 Lite, HDTV Tuner Card, ATSC, QAM". What sucks about this deal (even w/ the $10 off) is that it comes w/o an antenna, whereas if you buy directly from snapstream.com ($100) you get the antenna for free.

Shipping is $7 and change at snapstream.com and free (ground) at pcalchemy.com.

^^^^ You guys are killing me with these PC Alchemy and snapstream deals :(

great prices! (but my goodies allowance hit the ceiling months ago, and i need other stuff !)
