GO TO THE END OF THIS THREAD TO LOOK FOR THE LATEST DEALS.

I figure that having a thread for those selling HTPC specific stuff would be a good chance to let those looking for HTPC parts get some notice...that is if the mods don't mind. :) Also if you see some great deals on something (eg: 200gig HDs ;) ) please post a link and brief description.

So if you have a FS/FT or a WTB thread already in that forum, how about giving a brief description of what HTPC things your selling/looking for and a link to the your thread.

The whole point is to gather together FS/FT and Hot Deals annoncements in one place were they'll get noticed by the people who would be most interested.

Wow, this thread really trimmed down!

For deals that are listed in the Hot Deals, should we cross-post them here if they'd apply to HTPCs?

Sure, hopefully it would bring them to attention of people here who might need it.

The Panasonic TC-L32S1 32" 1080P LCD for $425 shipped after 15% Bing cashback.

To get 15% cashback do a search at Bing.com using the keywords "Tiger Direct". Then look for the 15% Tiger banner ad and click it (you may have to refrsh the page a few times for it to show up). Shop for the TV using that same page.

Direct product link: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4445432&sku=P333-3218

If anyone is hell bent on purchasing, do so right away since the high 15% cashback percentage won't last long.

You can use the 15% cashback on any product at tiger direct btw, i just happened to point out one of the better deals.

What happened to all the posts? A vast majority of them got purged, it seems. BTW, this thread is now 4 years old. :p

OrigenAE X15-E

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/sys/1537816051.html

This is too big for me, and I wouldn't use the touch screen. I figure somebody here might be interested in this case.

It's a CL ad and the guy is in Santa Clara CA.

P.S.

I have nothing to do w/this ad I just know from reading here that these cases are difficult to find in the US.

Oh, wow, craigslist always has some great deals!

For those who want more of a "monitor" and less of a "TV", Ecost has a brand new Westy LVM-37W3 SE 37" for $459 shipped, this price includes required Platinum membership.

So $419 + $40 Platinum membership = $459 shipped total.

Supposedly there's only 16 hours left till the sale ends.

Not sure what happened to this thread but.... yeah.

Anyways! Apex mITX case in black for $30 shipped! :D

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811154091

Great case, I think I paid $20 shipped for it back around Christmas. The power supply is a little loud and gets hot. I ended up replacing mine with a picoPSU.

Also, anyone getting the case and running any thing more than an atom make sure you put a fan in the side where the hard drive can be mounted.

I will remember that. I bought one, it's going to replace the KPC case I'm using for a little desktop system I'm running right now. :)

Windows 7?
very yes

I have one of these and I'm tempted to buy another for my secondary HTPC, even though I already have a dinovo on there.

I bought mine when it was on sale at one of the old HTPC part sites....pcalchemy maybe. It's absolutely, positively worth $30 if you ever find yourself needing to use a mouse on your couch

I just use my mouse. Works fine. But we have microsuede so it's pretty smooth. Although my wireless laser mouse even works on my jeans. Wouldn't work for gaming, but for HTPC use it's fine.

I've heard the gyrations are cool though.

Hot deal on the new 2010 model 37" Panasonic IPS-alpha LCD, approx $538 shipped

IPS-alpha panasonics have proven low input lag, look great with lower resolution movie rips, and have 1:1 scaling which makes it great to pair with an htpc. Would make the perfect bedroom TV, or jumbo monitor imho.

Dirt cheap 4-pin molex power supply, the type you can plug into 4 pin fans etc etc, only $6.86 shipped free. Especially good for DIY cabinet cooling etc etc etc.

The best part is that it comes in a package with other potentially useful goodies: USB to Sata and IDE converter + all the related cable accessories.

The power supply alone retails for $10-$15 + shipping at other online merchants, the included accessories are the icing on the cake imho.

Take a gander: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260477902803

The tip of the power supply is the male end of the molex connector, as expected.

Purchased one for a cousin of mine and received it the other day, this is when i noticed what kind of power supply was included. It was tested and it worked fine on his spare dvd optical drive. Took only a week to arrive from the far east to new jersey.

Those things are great for fans and lights but I wouldn't recommend using them for hard drives and cd drives. I'm pretty sure it burned up an older 80gb hard drive I have and when burning a DVD something inside it burst into flames. The seller sent me a new one but I'll only be using it for fans in my entertainment center now.

Anyone want to trade me a Hauppauge 1250 (clearqam supported) for one of my ATI 650 tuners??

Quantum ANT-102 amplified indoor remote controlled HDTV Antenna

Obviously not anywhere near as good as a nice outdoor antenna, but if you're restricted to the indoor stuff then this would be extremely hard to beat for $23~$25 shipped. Practically a no-brainer choice if an indoor is what you need.

Use 8% Bing cashback for ebay and get $2 off to make it $23 shipped.

BUT for those of you who can mount an outdoor antenna, i would highly recommend you do so. Not only would a few extra dollars buy you more channels but it'll just get you better channel stability and signal reception all around. Would make for a fun and relatively easy project, maybe even wean you off your cable bill. Down the road you can improve your outdoor antenna even more by adding a pre-amp and other stuff.

Try to beat this price for an outdoor antenna pre-amplifier: $13.54 shipped: http://cgi.ebay.com/VHF-UHF-Low-Noise-Pre-Amplifier_W0QQitemZ170468841354 <-- you're never going to get close to this price, the next lowest price would be around $30-$35 or so.

The specs on it are pretty good btw, especially the UHF specs, better than some of the more popular units on amazon, but obviously not the strongest either.

Edit: couldn't pass it up, picked one up for my future new OTA outdoor antenna replacement :)

Double Edit: Received it in 3 days, it came brand new in a plain but sealed retail box, all sorts of accessories were included.
