Would you take a low power version of the i5? Like a i5-2400s?
Any issues at all with the de-lidded i7-3770? Is it put back together fully with glue?


My brother has a low power CPU, but he is now in a need of a i7 for the extra threads and speed.

I'm open to a trade for the low power one, no issue with the 3770 ran intel burn test on very high for 10 passes just fine, I can do further stressing if you like to make sure (prime 95 or otherwise).
I used silicon gasket and the rockit cool realignment tool on it so its glued down, I did a post on my process: https://hardforum.com/threads/3-x-3770-deliddings-complete.1961116/#post-1043665404
