RMA'd MSI Geforce GTX 460 Hawk, 1GB, Twin Frozr II - N460GTX Hawk - $95 shipped
One of the fans occasionally buzzes, moreso at higher fan speeds; therefore I kept fans at 40% speed. Comes with just the video card, but if you need an adapter or accessory, ask and I'll see if I have it.

(previously I pulled this gpu from this thread to RMA it. I never got around to shipping it to the RMA center. I've put it back up for $95 , but if I don't get interest by the start of work week 4/23 it is going to the factory.)
--update--card has now been sent off

pulled, closed thread WD 400GB Caviar, SATA 3Gbps, 3.5" internal bare drive - WD4000AAJS - $35 shipped
Used and out of warranty. It was working fine as a mostly-idle storage drive; I bought a new drive and took this one out. Scratches on sides from mounting in steel HDD bays that does not affect operation.

I dont want to look at this stuff sitting around doing nothing.. i'll discount soneone who buys the 945 and a motherboard :cool:
 
evening bump... the cpu, remaining board, ram, and card are compatible with each other... hint :cool:
 
pulled video card to RMA.. likely to put it back up after it returns
 
Booya.. I was able to work something out with a friend and got his stock HSF from a 95W Athlon II 635. Haven't used it with my 945, but the TDP ratings are equal. The 945 will now come with that HSF.
 
Put the 460 back up for a couple of days, then it's going to the RMA center to get the fan buzz fixed... I hesitated to send it in over just that, so it's up for the weekend. Details added to OP. I either sell this, RMA it or worst of all, craigslist vultures. Don't make me do it!

the asus board went to ebay and sold in a few hours
the gtx 460 went to the rma center
400 GB hard drive up for a little bit and then I'm going to close this thread
