Hello guys!
I have been using a Samsung un40JU7100 for photo editing mostly (but with 2 regular IPS 1080p monitors and a Samsung Galaxy S Tab 10.5 as other displays to judge my edits) but I am not totally happy with it. Mainly it looks like just tiny movements of my eyes make the image look pretty different and worst, looks like calibrating it with my ColorMunki usually ends up giving me some odd "banding" artifacts in shadow areas.
So I have been considering the Sony 43" X800D due to its 10bit panel and wide color gamut.
Anyone using it for editing around here?
I am using a GTX 980ti (even though I RARELY play a game lol). I do not use this tv for 3D as I watch movies with a projector but of course, now that I am thinking about selling I kind of which the Sony had 3D in order to maybe use Nvidia 3D vision once in a while.
Anyways...editing is the main thing I want it for and just viewing photos. I know a small and more expensive monitor would be better but I just enjoy editing on the bigger screen more not to mention, watching my landscape photos in a bigger screen is surely more immersive.
Thanks for any comments!
