Hey guys, I just built a new PC and ended up with Vista 64. So, I have 2gigs of balistix DDR2800 and wish I had 4 gigs. I'm running a quad 6600 and I'd like to pick up another 2 gigs, is it as simple as getting another 2 gigs of balistix and adding that in? So, a total of 4 1 gig sticks?

I'm using the Gigabyte P35 DS3R board and plan to over clock the 6600 to 3.6 if at all possible. My understanding is that my current 2 gigs of ram should be fine for that, but if I get two more, will it just work? Or is there some reason I need to get 2, 2gig sticks instead of 4, 1 gig sticks?

Thanks guys!

you may want to look at your mobo more closely as some of the new boards have issues with 4 slots filled... bios update sometimes fix this
but in theory 4 sticks should work maybe a slight voltage increase...
