freeware of partition magic

Is there a freeware or something free similar to Partition Magic? I just installed Windows on a new drive, but forgot to create a second partition. I need to recover the missing 75gb floating around on my drive.

Check out gparted. You'll probably be interested in the livecd. But if you just want to create a partition in the empty space then you can just use the windows disk management control panel.

I'd go with Gparted. But like jpmkm said, try out windows disk management first. If that doesn't work, use Gparted.

It might be a good idea to do a backup first, also. You don't usually mess anything up resizing/creating partitions, but just to be on the safe side.
