Hi All,
So I've got a CIFS share on my FreeNas 8.3 server that I've been having some issues with. When I attempt to delete directories from my windows machine, every once and a while I get the error that the file/folder cannot be deleted because it's open in windows explorer. If I try again later (sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes a day), I can delete it without issue.
Is there a way to pinpoint what's opening/viewing the files? The files are primarily directories containing .mkv files or other media. I have a machine running XBMC that scans recursively. Could that be the problem, or might it be the share? Any help would be awesome.
Thanks,
Wicked
