free powerpoint alternative?

my friend lost his office desk and we urgently need to finish a powerpoint. is there anything we can do?

Haven't tried all of those, but I've used OpenOffice and it seems to work great.

I second OpenOffice.org It works great as an Office replacement.

Yeah OpenOffice works pretty good as presentation software. However it's 100%, but if you're just doing a basic presentation it will work near perfectly with Powerpoint.
