Free design plans for single-person concrete eco small houses?

Greetings,

Living out in the mid-west of the United States, I think it would be cheaper and more pleasant to buy a very small piece of land to build an economic 1-2 person house rather than spend the same money (20,000 USD?) on a house in a bad neighborhood / has many problems and needs fixing here and there (more $ input required after purchase) / cracking concrete foundation / higher cost maintenance.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas where I may be able to find design plans for 1-2 person small eco houses for this purpose? It would most certainly be better to take this route than get a used broken down house in a bad neighborhood and be able to save an extra 500 USD/month for future bigger house and other. No telling if and when I'll get married, so buying a house is #1 priority for me and I've been saving up money for this.

I've considered it myself. Cheap as hell, you can build it on a trailer and go where you please. Not having much room can be a blessing. You don't have room for tons of junk you don't really need and less to maintain and clean. A sort of financially and spiritually liberating appeal to it...

no concrete exterior houses though. :( so far, if taking any of these plans, would have to improvise if I really wanted to do a concrete exterior. Don't just want to dump concrete and call it a day -- it needs to at least look decent and fitting rather than an ugly slab of concrete.

PS. I live in the USA's tornado ally

EDIT: eh, looks like tornado-proof houses is half a fantasy and pipedream. 1ft thick of steel-reinforced concrete may or may not do, plus sidewalks are usually like 4" thick too ... expensive and not guaranteed to be tornado proof :| bricks become missiles, trees become wrecking tools.

This. Being a part of the ground itself is the best way to be tornado proof.

Alternatively with a tiny house on a trailer you can drive out of the way of oncoming storms. Though this is still risky and requires you to be very diligent.
