Framework laptop mainboard now on sale

Not sure if this has been posted.

The framework laptop was promised as being very modular and easy to repair. It seems the mainboards have officially gone on sale on April 22. They are now available on the framework marketplace.

Also the mainboards should run fine without the rest of the laptop chassis, so if you want to build a custom computer with it, then go at it!

Seems like the perfect machine for someone who really wanted a late model Intel Macbook Pro but thought Apple's stuff was too fast, too well built, had too good of a warranty, and was too inexpensive.

Been following along from the early days. Liked the initial idea and repair/customizability but the price, lack of discrete gpu makes it a hard no from me. The i7 mobo alone is almost enough for a good laptop which is nuts for a 4 core cpu, even if it has iris xe

I've personally tested the amd 5800 versus the i7 1165 and its no contest, the newer i7s are 8 core and they are much better from what I've read.

I have faith in this project but I think it needs 3rd party mods/parts to bloom
