Might want to make sure the power supply has enough spare capacity, and also make sure if the board is BTX, that it will fit. Dell has a habit of speccing PSUs with razor thin margins.

Despite BTX being killed off over a decade ago, Dell has continued to make BTX designs, or other proprietary designs where slots run upside down.

I can confirm a 1650 works no issues in any Optiplex I've put it in with the stock PSU - Mid Tower of course given physical space.

Thanks for the heads up. I have one already and it seems fine. I'm using Optiplex 3080/3070 mini towers with these cards as a gaming machine for my neice/nephew. I have two 5 y/o that plays mainly Roblox.
