If new forums are considered anytime soon I'd like to throw out a "Communications" sub-forum under the Hobbies group. Somewhere for the CB'ers, HAM Radio operators, Shrotwave guys, etc have to pass ideas and compare logs and such. I know I could put a thread under the general hobbies forum but it gets lost rather quickly.

Well... otherwise This place is perfect! :)
 
I second this idea!

Im just getting into amature radio so a place on [H] to discuss such stuff!

As a former commo guy in the Army who will be getting into this when I get my new house, I add my vote! That would be awesome...

Adding new forums is up to Kyle, but I don't exactly see a big demand here. You can just go ahead and post this type of stuff in the main [H]obbies area. :)

what if the topic was expanded a little to include cell phone, cell phone software/modding, etc...?

Cell phones and any other hand held communication/computer devices are covered in the Mobile Computing forum....as Lethal said, there just isn't enough demand for a forum of that type....now there is your second opinion :D

gotcha, i assumed mobile computing was just for laptops/PDA's and such.
