For the third time in a week, Oracle is involved in another lawsuit. This time around it is a former employee claiming that the company wanted her to cook the books and was fired when she threatened to blow the whistle.

Her superiors, Blackburn alleges, "instructed her to add millions of dollars in accruals to financial reports, with no concrete or foreseeable billing to support the numbers." When she refused to do so, "executives above her in the chain of command went ahead and added accruals on their own," the suit says. When Blackburn threatened to blow the whistle, she was terminated in October 2015, the suit alleges.

Which in turn will lead to another court appointment with the IRS. Maybe the Golden State Warriors will win their title in the IRS Arena.

Sounds like she shouldn't have threatened to blow the whistle and just done it. If a company is corrupt, you shouldn't be surprised when they fire you for trying to make them do the right thing. My guess is that she wanted more money to cook the books and they refused. Now she has to sue them while playing the good guy, but with less information since Oracle has no doubt destroyed a bunch of the evidence.

Sweet, now we can get another Sarbox act which makes the rest our jobs harder.

I am sure they needed the money to help make Java the most secure software out there
