Ford Is Developing a Powerful All-Electric F-Series Truck

That would make it the cheapest Mercedes Benz in their lineup.....that seems kind of unlikely....especially in the short term.
Only the Chinese have managed to hit that price point today. 20000 EUR is confirmed by Volkswagen though. It's gonna be a good while, maybe 2025 or so before $20k EV become somewhat commonplace.

And the first thing I want to do is strap myself into a $20k Chinese EV..........................................or any Chinese car (not a Chinese holding company car that they do not do the engineering on)

Confirmed like the $35k Model 3?

That may be on the short end of that for a full fledged car.

Fucking hell man, thats like running 2 or 3 5-ton residential AC units at once. Fucking ridiculous.

Well, it's a lot of battery to charge.

Do the math...
60kWh battery pack
Assume ~90% charging efficiency
240V * 32A = 7.68kW
60kWh / 7.68kW / 90% = ~8.7 hours

Yeah, just ignore the powerplants that the power comes from. Or the massive strip mining required for the minerals to produce solar panels/ batteries. "Green" tech is a farce today, only nuclear power comes anywhere close.
Lol where do you think then nuclear material comes from and where does it go when they dilute emissions NRC standards? Then where do you store it for 400k years? Nuclear is primitive 50s shit just like jet planes. Tesla tech or nothing is the only way out of this mess.
