Only the Chinese have managed to hit that price point today. 20000 EUR is confirmed by Volkswagen though. It's gonna be a good while, maybe 2025 or so before $20k EV become somewhat commonplace.

And the first thing I want to do is strap myself into a $20k Chinese EV..........................................or any Chinese car (not a Chinese holding company car that they do not do the engineering on)

Do the math...
60kWh battery pack
Assume ~90% charging efficiency
240V * 32A = 7.68kW
60kWh / 7.68kW / 90% = ~8.7 hours

Lol where do you think then nuclear material comes from and where does it go when they dilute emissions NRC standards? Then where do you store it for 400k years? Nuclear is primitive 50s shit just like jet planes. Tesla tech or nothing is the only way out of this mess.
