Forcing AF (Anisotropic Filtering) does not work on AMD cards...

Apparently you cannot force 16x AF on AMD card on any newer game than ones using DirectX 9
Is there any workaround for that other than selling Radeon and getting GeForce where such basic features are implemented correctly?

That's just because the description in the control panel hasn't been updated. I just tested in Apex Legends, and forcing from the control panel works. Apex Legends is a DX11 title.

*note to test this you have to set the game to Bilnear or Trilinear manually in game. Then exit, force it driver side and open the game again*
