Hello guys.

I was wondering if there is a way to make the GMail Inbox folder the default folder when Outlooks opens up.

Is there a way to integrate the GMail folders to the Personal folders? I think that'd be hard, since it is IMAP...

Is there a way to import contacts to Outlook?

If anyone can offer some help, that would be great.

Thanks!

Can't say about personal folders, but you can have Outlook chose your Gmail to be your primary email by going in your control panel, then Mail, then Show Profiles. Use the drop menu to select your Gmail profile and then select "Always use this profile".

Be sure you have Outlook turned off before you do this.

There is an option within Outlook to set what folder you want to open up by default. Unfortunately there is no way to make it the same as your personal folder while using IMAP.

Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options>Startup In This Folder

The "Always Use This Profile" feature applies to which account e-mails will be sent from.
