Some times when I am in the middle of a game, my ping just shoots up and I freeze for about 5-7 seconds. (BEFSX41). The router is about a week old, what could be causing this?
Did you try connecting to different servers? Same problem?
It seems like you port forwarded the IRC ports through the router correct?
Are you blocking ping requests on router? What about the irc software?
