Firefox prob...

After my computer decided to BSOD and crash last night..... when I go to open up Firefox now it only opens in a partial window and then I have to maximize the window myself. Before this happened it would just automatically open up in the maximized window. I downloaded and installed FF2.0 but the same problem persists. Any suggestions?

This is probably due to the localstore.rdf file being messed up in your profile. An easy solution is just to delete the file.

It is located in:

c:\documents and settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\SOME RANDOM FOLDER NAME\

Delete the localstore.rdf file in there, restart firefox. Problem should be fixed on subsequent restarts.

Note that you will have to turn on "View Hidden Files" because Application Data is a hidden folder.
