I am using FF 2.0 and whenever I try to download a .wal file (winamp skin) all that shows is basically ascii text. Winamp doesn't prompt me that it is downloading a skin or anything. I have:

Went under Explorer (not IE) and went to file types and .wal was associated with winamp.
Went under Firefox and checked file types, but .wal was not listed and there was no way to add it.
Followed directions to reset the mime types under Firefox - basically delete c:\documents and settings\<profile>\application data\Mozilla\firefox\Profiles\<profile>\mimetypes.rdf.

None of these have fixed the problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

Doesn't work from deviantart because when you click download it points you to a download.htm and not the .wal itself. Trust me I already tried that.

Try going into Winamp's preferences and making sure it's associated with the .wal format, then trying the download in Firefox again.
