Didn't the FCC recently rule that drones have to be flown within line of sight and under 500'? Which means Amazon wouldn't be able to make drone deliveries to their customers. But you can bet a powerhouse like Amazon will lobby the gov.'t to soften those rules.

Yes, I meant FAA, I stand corrected, getting my acronyms mixed up.

I thought I read that some gov.'t agency had guidelines that drones have to be within line of sight, etc.

It's not law yet, but a proposed rule. Obviously, Amazon will try to loosen that proposed rule.
