Well after finally convincing myself I will never be able to afford the IBM t41p I settled on the t40p from a store on ebay.

Thats the exact laptop I got. I think its a great price for what it's equipped with. I realized I dont need a fire Gl t2 and I wont be doing that much gaming on it. Now the wait for it to arrive. I am thinking in the future of upgrading the HD but as of now 40 is fine for me and 5400 rpm will do.
