FCE 1.0 vs FCE 2.0

OK, need some info/opinions.

I have FCE 1.0. Works good for me. FCE 2.0 is out, and I can upgrade for cheap. But my question is, why? Other than the fact that FCE 2.0 was announced, I don't see anything breathtaking that would make me want to go out and rob a CompUSSR to get a copy, aside from staying current with revision numbers. What's so great in 2.0 that warrants a new revision number in the first place?

What's the skinny on the "new" features, if any?

Honestly, I wonder that too.

I think its faster, G5 accelerated.. other than that ...?

now its $300 instead of $100.

It's always been $300. Version 1.0 was too. It's $100 to upgrade. I got it for $100 with my G5 (special promo I think).

Yeah, G5 optimized would be nice, but I was hoping for a little more.
