Just beat it and wanted to know who you all liked the most.



For me it was Mordin. Well done voice acting, and just liked his way of speaking.

Tali .... I know alot of you out there like that potential predator face but for gods sakes she was useless in a fight.

Jack annoyed the hell out of me, never took the witch anywhere.

Legion - Cause converted geth are cool. And I like how the mono-eye and face plates on his head move together to humanize him a little bit.

Didn't like Jack. She looked really ugly, and is emo bitch, still wonder how they made her romance option for Shepard. Hell, he would have to be really desperate to go for her, having Miranda around :)
The religious lizard assassin also is a big "no" for me.

Liked Grunt and Samera.
Grunt: Who would not like a perfect Krogan
Samera: Nice outfit, and I really liked her story, how she had to hunt her daughters
 
Miranda was just great because she increased everyone's teams stats. Health and Damage if I remember. And her other skills are good. Samera is pretty good with a rifle and reave biotics. Well, I usually picked them. Much more aesthetic too, especially over than lizard assasin and mordin who I almost never brought along. I didn't hate anyone though. Although the lizard's philosophy was really messed up. He was supposed to be some wise guy, but seemed pretty dumb to me.
 
Don't know why but I just freakin LOVE Jack. She's hot in a skanky Goth chic kind of way plus she is one bad ass Biotic.

Also dig Miranda, perfect ass, tits and cameltoe,you could bounce a dime off that ass. Mordin is also pretty damn awesome and funny.

Garrus is still Garrus. Joker and EDI, I love the banter between those two Plus EDI is voiced by Tricia Helfer better know as Caprica Sex, I mean Six from BSG. Love love love that woman.

Also like that little slut Kelly, Shepards assistant, her little dance in Shepards cabin is sexah ! lol.

Also love Tali, can't wait to see her face someday, she's just a little cutie with a great personality and a fine little bod.

Samara is also pretty damn hot, love the way her outfit clings to her and her story is pretty cool. Having to kill your daughter has got to be tough.

Legion is kinda cool, for a synthetic and he is totally bad ass in a firefight.

The rest are ok, nothing special.

Garrus. "I love this rifle!" Killer with any weapon, particularly his sniper rifle.
Legion. ***does spontaneous dance with beatbox*** Excellent against any synthetic and dead accurate with a sniper rifle.
Jack. "Hell0Oo dead people!" Her language was annoying, but she had some funny quips and useful biotics if you were not one.
Tali. "Go for the Optics Tecka!" Hips and maxed out combat drone FTW!
Mordin. "NOT difficult." Useful in about any fight and hilarious to listen too.
Pretty much everyone except the guy below...

Disliked:
Zaeed. Good thing he was free DLC because there is nothing likable about the guy, his story or his skills. EA's "first day DLC" is only a successful sales strategy if the content is *enjoyable*. FAIL.
 
I didn't really care for Jack... she got pissed at me after I risked my ass for her.
 
I would usually take Mordin and Garrus/Zaeed with me. Mordin's incinerate got me out of trouble countless times.
 
I brought Miranda along for her powers, but didn't care aout the characer itself. Favourites were Tali, Legion, and Mordin. And Garrus, though he coasted on being a recurring character. Least favorite was Zaeed (though his stories were fun), Jacob (boring) and Thane (just don't get the guy).
 
I liked Mordin because he kicked ass in battle. Didn't pay attention to anyone else.

Edit: That's not fair, I liked Legion, but I felt like there ought to have been more to talk about with him.
 
Mordin's way of talking reminds me too much of Abed from the TV show Community... so I can't really stand him.

Legion was kind of stuck in there at the end... I actually liked the concept and wished there was more to him.

My favorite is still Garrus simply because he's so badass. He was my right hand man in ME1, and I was very glad he returned. My heart skipped a beat when I saw him get wtf owned in the cutscene. I thought it was Bioware's way of being incredibly mean. Fortunately, they're not.

If there was a least favorite, I guess it'd be Jack. I'm not into the whole bald emo goth chick look. She looks like some crack addict who's on a whole new level of "attitude problem."

I actually had problems with all the females in the group... Miranda has a large forehead, Samera... I was never ever into the blue octopus chicks. I know they're supposed to be the sex icons of the universe, but damn they just don't do it for me. Samera also has a very square jaw which I'm not into no matter the race. Tali... I like the way Tali's armor looks, but she can't ever expose herself which is a deal breaker.

I of course spent the whole time banging Kelly instead as a result.
 
Least favorite would easily be Jacob. He was completely unmemorable. Case in point: None of you have even mentioned him, not even using him in missions.

Jack was probably my favorite overall character. Her character had the most depth.

I have to say though, as much as I like Miranda's body, there's something about the way Bioware made her face that just really reaches into the uncanny valley. Something's really off and it's really unattractive. They shouldn't have tried to model her face so much like her voice actress so closely.

Garrus improved a lot from ME1. I really didn't find him entertaining then but he seems to have gotten a bit more personality and with a dash of humor this time around.

For missions, Miranda is probably the most useful as she has both Overload and Warp, and on Insanity having the options to nuke shields, biotic barriers, armor, and stop the blood pack's crazy regen rate is nearly irreplaceable. The only problem is her cooldown time sucks.

Tali is also incredibly useful as shield drain is even better than shock. Likewise Legion is also a good replacement for Miranda however comes so late in the game that it hardly matters at that point.

Jack was my favorite on normal as her fast cooldown made spamming shockwave (which already did a good amount of damage) pretty much a game breaker. On insanity though, both of her direct biotic abilities are near useless as anything with armor/shields/barrier won't be affected, and absolutely every enemy has at least one of those. Warp ammo would be indispensable... if I weren't already an adept with a very fast Warp cooldown.

Mordin was great on normal but again, almost useless on Insanity. Armor tends to be the least of my concerns as skills and weapons against armor are the most common, and incinerate is useless against shielded/barrier enemies, and if I can freeze someone, well that means they have nothing protecting them and they're nearly dead at that point anyway.

Grunt is probably my most used mission member on Insanity simply because he can take hits, yet the least used on Normal.

Least Favorite: Tali, Jacob, Thane

I wish Garrus's loyalty armor was a new suit and not just a repaint of his damaged one. Also I still like Wrex better than grunt.

Miranda was a mainstay in my party for the whole game. While she wasn't as useful as some of the other people in terms of pure combat, the passive HP and damage bonus was too good to pass up. I used Grunt a lot, but eventually I got tired of him charging out and getting himself owned. Once I got Legion, my permanent party was Shepard/ Miranda/ Legion. Legion's "Widow Anti-Material Rifle" was absolutely nasty if you researched it for him.

So my list would be:

FAVS:
Miranda
Legion
Thane

LEAST:
Zaeed (really wtf was the point of this guy)
Jacob (not only was he useless in battle for me because he just ate my medigels, he was probably the least interesting character in the game outside of the DLC)

All of the characters are pretty solid for the most part, but

I think Mordin might be my favorite among the new characters. From the moment I met Captain Kirrahe's team on Virmire, I was looking forward to getting a salarian team member. Also, the moral ambiguity of Mordin's work and past make his back story one of the most compelling. You can't figure out of he's the best or the worst person on the team, really, and at a few moments he seems to feel the same way.

I also really liked Samara and Thane, even if the "introspective but proficient aging warrior" archetype they represent overlaps slightly.

I've liked Tali a lot since the first game, and it's almost impossible not to love Garrus so it was great to have both of them back. One of the better story moments for me was when he walks out immediately after the recruitment mission and asks Shepard how his face looks. Little moments go a long way towards tricking the player into having a sense of comradery with an imaginary collection of polygons on your television set. (or perhaps I should get out more?)

Like a few others, Jack didn't really do anything for me and it seemed like Jacob was just sort of there after the first few hours.
 
I haven't found any of them to be any different from the others. Preferred it in ME when their roles were more distinct; all of these guys have such an overlap that I'm just picking whoever's the least tedious to listen to. So not the green assassin twat, or Jacob, basically.

Just rolling around with Zaeed and Miranda, mostly, since they're the only two whose loyalty things I've done. And because Zaaed's a top bloke.

Someone fix Garrus' armour, and give the scrawny dyke some clothes. The crew in this one's crap.

Once you complete the game if you click continue instead of main menu. You can then talk to everyone on board the Normandy and basically hear thanks for saving us, etc etc. If you talk to Kelly ask if she's happy she'll go through her little spiel about being handpicked by the Illusive man etc then she says she happy scared etc etc but she knows that if she falls back you'd Drop Her Embrace her or catch her. of course you say embrace and that excites her. Read your messages at your private console, she says she's got something for you if you invite her to your cabin.Go to Sheperds cabin and look at your intercom. There will be an option to invite her to your cabin.

You can have her dance, sit on your lap or lay in bed with you or all 3.

Mordin is awesome. Easily my favorite addition to the team. I liked having Garrus and Tali back, but I missed Wrex (I guess I shouldn't have shot him). Grunt was cool and was a different character than I was expecting from the prerelease marketing.

Thane, Justicar lady, Jacob and Legion were alright, but not really all that useful for me.

I absolutely hated Jack, despite the fact that her back story was kind of a cool Ender's Game history. Plus she died constantly when I brought her along on missions. Yes, my character slept with her (and just about everyone else) but I still wanted to see her sucked out of an air hatch or exploded. All she says to me now that I've beaten the storyline is "fuck you". No ma'am, fuck you. I hope I get to sacrifice someone in some DLC or in the beginning of ME3 cause that bitch needs to die.

least liked: jacob(?), mordin(gives me a headache... did they really have to do their own interpretation of that annoying fuck from star wars 1?)

then again i'm not looking for soft pixel porn like some of these kids that get so excited about that miranda chick (or morrigan in dragon age). seriously, is it really all that exciting?
 
I really liked Mordin, and I actually liked Garrus a lot in this one, which was surprising because I didn't use him at all in ME1. As for characters I hated, the only one I really disliked was Zaeed, because he was pretty much just tacked onto the game. Everyone else was pretty much alright.

I did it "correctly" in that I played the renegade role unwaveringly. Maybe when I do the paragon role this next play through I'll see the romance and end up liking her, but for now I couldn't stand her.
 
Favorites:
Miranda - Tits, ass, overload, passive squad bonus. Does it get any better?
Garrus - BAMF. Nuff said.

Hated:
Jack - Hideous and annoying
Tali - Just don't like her. Purposely sent her through the ducts so she would die

Fav: Thane- I think he was one of the best characters. I loved talking to him and he was great in my team.

Hated: Zaeed- anyone I cannot actively talk to is not a real member of my team, so please get off my ship, jerk.
 
i liked jack, grunt, mordin, and thane

disliked jacob and miranda. jacob is pretty bland, and miranda seems like a bitch

Tali - Cute science/nerd chick. My romance pick, wish they would have shown her face
Garrus - Just plain smooth
Thane - great back-story

Didn't like:

Miranda - Body is slammin', but boring as hell
That mercenary dude - Good voice actor, character wasn't fleshed out at all
 
There's alot of hatin on Jack but for pure kickassery, I could put her with the assasin and mop up.

Least fav would be Jacob.

I really didn't have a middle ground in game, i either liked or disliked the characters. If there was a middle ground, it'd have to be jacob. Didn't do anything to piss me off, but also didn't do anything to impress. Bland.

Jacob was definitely this game's "Kaiden Boringface".

Thane wasn't a favorite, but I did like the character for the most part and the drell are another interesting secondary species.

I'd be interested to visit a hanar or volus world in a future game. The locales were a lot more convincing this time which was a big plus.

Garrus: A ''Nuff said'' is in order.
Tali: Who can hate her.
Grunt: Pure Krogan badass.

Jacob: Boring as many have said
Zaeed: Stupid to be even be called DLC material. A cool gun would of been better addition.
 
Playing on insanity, makes a lot of characters useless

liked/used: Miranda (her skillset is ridiculously powerful), Grunt (he's a tank and w/ his researchable shotty is great to send in first), Samara (good skill set + assault rifle = win), legion (upgradable sniper rifle is pretty ridic)

dislike: all the useless overlapping skill set characters (ie. the rest)

Not dislike as in I dislike their storylines, just the fact that they are mostly fairly useless, though the first game also had this problem.
