Far Cry 5 - $24.00 - Uplay Store

Thanks. Looks like Ubi is having a winter sale. 12$ seems good for Rainbow Six Siege.
 
FC1 was by far the best of the series, FC2 I couldn't finished, FC3 & 4 were my favorites and FC5 I have no idea what words to use to describe how horrible the game was for me so I may get it when it comes down to 0.99 just to have in my collection.
 
Far Cry 5 has been awesome. I love every moment of it. Right now I got sucked into Path of Exile though. But yea. FC5 was been fantastic.

It looked awesome to me except for the whole forced capture thing that ended whatever you were doing and moved the game forward. Once would have been acceptable, but supposedly it happens multiple times. I'll probably still get it when it's cheap enough, but that sounds like a really disappointing/frustrating gameplay mechanic.

It's kinda MEH and really is only used for the Chicks area over much. At least in my opinion. I just wish you had some different options in the story. The ending was very... Mass Effect 3.
 
This is what I gathered after playing 5 for about 5-6 hours. The open world is a natural evolution of 3 and 4's. The forced mission stuff feels a lot like Far Cry 2, pretty heavy handed at times ala 'malaria pills'.

The story is a love it or hate it, I personally love shooting up crazy ass religious nuts. A far change from terrorists, aliens and the usual rabble. Take away the forced missions and you have a fun game to run around in, co-op it's right there with GR: Wildlands. A fun 'tear shit up for an hour' experience.

Take this with a grain of salt as I may have been under the influence when I wrote it.
 
This game kind of old. Shouldn't it be $15 or less already?
 
Looking at the discounts I had 3 games in mind. GTA5 from GMG, or from Uplay FC5, or Ghost Recon Wildlands. GTA lost out fairly quick to FC5 and GRW. I ended up going for ultimate edition of GR Wildlands for 36 bucks. I Haven't had time to play much yet but I hope I made a good decision!
