It's an FPSRPG. There's an over-the-shoulder third-person cam, but it's primarily an FPSRPG.Also Fallout 3 is not a fps. It's an RPG with stats.
It was leaked some number of days ago.Im still confused on how you played the game on the 360 when it hasnt been released yet??
it seems pretty silly to talk about playing an illegal copy of the game doesnt it?It's an FPSRPG. There's an over-the-shoulder third-person cam, but it's primarily an FPSRPG.

really I thought it was banned on all forums of this nature.Silly? Maybe, but not against the rules 'round these parts.

Do you need "aiming skills" for Fallout 3? Not necessarily, if you manage your V.A.T.S. points so conservatively that you're making rolled targeted shots at all times (which, as I understand it, isn't really feasible), but the combat is primarily real time. Ergo, you need to at least aim at your targets...in the first person perspective. FPSRPGYour aiming skills are going to have nothign to do with the game unless you have stat points. It's an RPG. It's nothign to do with twitchin or your skill as a person.
I will go PC for all three
However, I will probably have to use a gamepad for deadspace as reviews here in the UK report that the mouse/keyboard controls are REALLY poor..... PC Zone rated the game at 81% with all good points except mouse control which they describe as "dogshit".
Apparently even the menus are next to impossible to control with the mouse....
For Dead Space, i'd go with the 360 since its more of a survival horror in 3rd person, and i think you'd get a much better feel for it on a controller over a keyboard and mouse...
Dead Space for 360 since for me, i thin kthe controller is better for survival horror.

Unless I'm just absolutely mistaken here...
Are you kidding? Didn't I say...Over the shoulder is third person NOT first person.
Read, then post.There's an over-the-shoulder third-person cam
Yeah, but my understanding is that there's no hit/miss rolling involved in non-V.A.T.S. mode, save for damage calculations and so forth. When you aren't in V.A.T.S., you're shooting in real-time, and there's some stat checking going on, but you're still very much aiming at targets and shooting them. Judging from some of the gameplay videos, it seems like there's some leeway/autoaim action happening there (perhaps X360-only), but it's still fundamentally an "aim at target and shoot" type deal. V.A.T.S. is there when you want to throw out the player skill component entirely.I mean aiming at something and it doing a "behind the scenes" roll doesn't make ita fps at all to me.

Console, because once you're done with the game you can actually turn around and sell it
to individuals maybe and even then they have to worry if you exceeded the the install limit or some other DRM issue. places like EB games and such dont buy pc games because of the serial number or DRM issues. That is a fairly stupid excuse since you can sell PC games.

I'll be grabbing all 3 on the 360. Really, if I can play it on the Xbox 360 anymore, I do, and if it only comes out on the PC, then that's where I play it. Just a matter of where most of my friends are playing their games.
guess u guys will re track your statement saying you would get fc2 on pc now unless you love DRM and that 5 install limit
There's always the mind rending conundrum of deciding whether it'd be better to play an FPS on a Gamepad or with a mouse and keyboard.
This simple choice has driven sane men mad and mad men sane. It even lead me to a breakthrough where I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by not having any at all!
Jail isn't as bad as they make it look on TV.
Jail is a luxury. Jails in the UK have 360/ps3 consoles, swimining pools, sky tv ie satalite/cable tv.
its more like a 5 star hotel but getting back to the point. fps on a joypad is really not that bad once u get use to it
I am picking up the latest games but have run into a dilema, I'm sure most of you who own multiple consoles and a pc are facing, which platform to buy the games for? I have a great PC with a 37" monitor and I have a great home theater with 61" dlp etc etc
I have been leaning towards the 360/ps3 for dead space and fallout3 and the pc for farcry 2 (because i prefer mouse/keyboard with fps)
What are you gonna get and why? Thanks
