Factory OC'd cards worth it? (GTX 460)

Well like most people, i'm looking into purchasing a 460 1gb.

Now, for example, eVGA has their superclocked cards straight from the factory. This is basically just giving me an OCed from the factory that is under warranty, right? Technically, I should be able to OC a stock GTX460 to the same speeds or above? It's just that doing that technically voids my warranty?

So if I want to OC on my own, get the base version, if I want the piece of mind, get it from the factory for $10 extra bucks?

10 bucks really isn't that much of a premium to pay for a definite performance boost.
