Does anyone really want Facebook using facial recognition to go through the pictures on your phone just so it can suggest people to send them to?

Photo Magic (groan), which you have to opt into to use, is meant to solve a fundamental problem of the smartphone camera age: you likely have hundreds of photos of friends sitting inside your camera roll, and despite your best intentions, you'll likely never take the time to pick them out and send them to your friends.
 
What could possibly go wrong....

Has anyone made a Seymour Butts Facebook account and appropriate profile photo yet? "The most recognized man on the interwebs"
 
Sooo...they are now building a huge interconnected db of your face plus your fridnds. I wonder when those airships from Captain America hit the skies. No thanks! This is why I dislike lol Facebook.
 
An interesting game. The only way to win is not to play.
 
I rarely visit Facebook and I most certainly don't install it's slimy app or messenger.
