fable 2 free on xbox live marketplace?

i was looking through games on demand today and i looked at fable 2 to see how much it was. when i clicked on it, by "buy" where the price should be it said"free". i have never bought the game before and this just seemed odd to me. anyone know anything about this? i have a picture uploading now for evidence

seeing as how it's not even 2 gigs, probably a demo or something? doubtful it would be the full game at that size.
 
Yeah, it's basically a demo. They're giving you a taste of the full game, which will become available in installments, via Xbox Live. It's free though (the first installment), so it's a cool way to see if you like it.
 
I really wanted to like this game but just couldnt get into it. I wish this was around when I went and bought so I could have not wasted the money on buying the game.
 
The game starts off a little slow. Hopefully that demo doesn't necessarily follow the same timeline.
