ezpro projector that uses a halogen bulb and it clicks instead of turning on?

Hey guys I just picked up a ctx ezpro 550 aka lightware vp800 aka proxima lb30 projector. I try to turn it on but it just clicks when I stick the power cord in it. I checked the fuse it uses and it's fine. I just stuck 2 brand new bulbs in it and neither work. I just picked it up off ebay for $20 and was wondering if anybodyhad any suggestions on it. it looks to be in okay shape it justs clicks. anyone else have this projector that could give me some tips
 
I just called tech support and they said my power supply is dead. and that a new one would cost $240. I bought this projector for around $20 plus $20 shipping anybody know if I could rig up an external powersupply to run this sucker?
 
yeah I just pulled it apart it is definetly the power supply it clicks
 
anybody or should I move this over to the power supply forum?
