Okay, I have a WMV file, and I don't want to send the whole 105mb to my friend.

Is there a way to extract the audio in Windows Movie Maker or what? Or anyone know of a 3rd party (free) app that I can use?

Much thanks,

Alex

Their website says nothing about WMVs, so I'm guessing that's a no.

Anyone else? Or am I just not reading everything? (12:22am...i'm dead :p)

AFAIK it does assuming you have the appropriate codecs installed. VirtualDub should be able to easily demux the audio track, then Audacity or whatever if you want to trim it or do any post-processing of the audio.
