External DVD-Roms with XenApp 6.5

Does anyone here know of any External USB DVD-roms that act as removable storage and don't use the Atpi driver?

Apparently one of my thin client users on XenApp published desktop needs a CD-rom drive and generic USB ones don't work with XA65 due to the multiuser envionment/driver issues. Supposed to be fixed in Excaliber but I'm needing a solution for XA65 if anyone has one.

XenApp treats client usb drives like network mapped drives - no port level redirection.

I don't know the limitations of the ICA client on that Thin OS ..but I still use
version 11.0 of the Windows client and it does map my USB DVD ROM I have
plugged in.

You are correct that an USB DVD ROM works on the windows client, Windows has the drivers for the ROM built in, my main concern is wtos, I'll just plug one in and see what happens.

Don't you have to enable the functionality in a config/INI file on thin clients?

I asked technical sales and they said it will work without ini changes on the T10
