Anyone know how to stretch C: into the unallocated space without using Partition Magic? Can't figure it out with this utility.

Or is there an open source program that can do it?

Thanksssss

er, maybe this should be in DSS?

www.partedmagic.com would be the recommended tool nowadays. Free, works as well as any commercial product available, and easy to figure out.

I would recommend that you - and anyone reading this actually - avoid Partition Magic (a commercial product from Symantec/Norton) because a) it's pretty damned old, b) it hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years now and most likely never will be again, and finally c) Vista absolutely hates it.

It appears from the screenshot that you're using XP (and the Zune theme, maybe) and while Partition Magic might function adequately with XP drives and partitions, I would still strongly recommend you avoid using it. Parted Magic is, as I said, free, far more updated, and if at some point you do choose to start using Vista you can continue using Parted Magic without issues.

Good luck...
