From what I gather, my buddy's WinXP Explorer.exe is crashing (folder crashes, taskbar disappears and restarts) everytime he opens a folder or the Windows Explorer file manager. Internet Explorer causes it too I think, but every other program works fine. I had him disable all the visual effects but that didn't help. Tried disabling all start-up items and also rolling back with System Restore to a point before the problem occurred and now I'm out of ideas...
