Exchange and auto generating emails for public folders

I have public folders setup in Exchange and an e-mail address is auto-generated for that folder. Is there a way to make it so an address is manually created instead of it being auto-generated? I don't have access to Exchange itself, I am just the admin of the public folder.

I don't think so, creating email aliases (which also deals with routing them) is something you'd need more permissions for than that.
