I have exchange 07 on server 2003, however a new app requires IIS to run in 32 Bit mode. If i switch to 32 bit mode on IIS, how will that effect Exchange?

Isn't Exchange 07 64bit only? I would think Exchange would work, just not OWA or OMA.

I could be wrong and ill have the Exchange experts in here clarify this.

Exchange 07 is 64 bit only, but you can get IIS to switch from 64 bit to 32 bit mode easily, question is. . . . .what will it do to exchange.

Why not setup a VM Network and see?

Time Crunch, server died (Which is now running on a temp VM) and i don't have time to setup another VM with exchange.

I slapped the app on a desktop for the time being until new hardware gets in. I would like to still know the results of moving IIS to run as 32 bit mode with exchange 07

I wouldn't do it, exchange 07 depends too heavily on IIS for several components.

Yeah, i figure its not even worth testing, going a different route with this one.
