Yes, and a Lamborghini is 225k, what's the lol'ing about?
Way too expensive.
Secondly, you can't compare a Lamborghini to a motherboard rofl

Yeah, i guess we'll have to wait til later today when the load relaxes and they can fix the site. Because literally everything went nuts, not just the forums.
Yep, I just did my step up. waiting to see how long its gonna take. $159.99 total for my step up. at least its not $450.![]()
Screw it anyway, I surrender to the impulse to have something new...............
I stepped up this afternoon............classified here I come............$160 for this $450 MB was too great a temptation.
#70 in the Queue.
Damn EVGA,damn you anyway.
(anybody need a Bitspower MOSfet cooler for the EVGA X58 SLI X3????)
I was blown away w/ your duel xeon asus setup...can't wait to see this one!
coming from you magoo...I'm not surprised, you're the epitome of [H] members, changing out the latest tech like daily underwear
Wait? I can stepup my regular x58? If so, thats freaking hot.
You wont be able to run sli without the NF200 chip right.
yea but how cheaper is the non-NF200 one?![]()
Russian I'm a bit confused. If we don't get the nf200 I can't use a sound card + PhysX card?
RussianHAXOR said:Afaik x58 chipset has 36 lanes in total. It's 16x +16x +an empty slot or 16x+8x+8x. That would Effectively put a 4th slot in X4 mode and if you ran a sound card then you would be running the sound card in X1 and yoru PhysX card in X3 (not that im even sure that its possible, purely theoretical).
Wow, i've thought about getting into kendo before, but never realized it was that expensive. And yes you can still use a sound card on the normal x58 evga board, you just have to have a single slot waterblock![]()
/bail on NF200 classified.
il wait for the non NF200 based version![]()
I'm with you. This sort of pisses me off though. If evga was planning all along to have a non-NF200 board, why not tell us about it.......
I don't want anything nvidia on my MB except video cards............my 680i board was good to me, but anything after that sucked big....(but was ASUS)........
Yes, I can easily decline my Classified(NF200) step-up and just wait and see what the nonNF200 has to offer......I do like the set-up of the Classified, but I was thinking today, I seriously doubt I'll ever use Triple-SLi again, I think a physx card is bullschizzle, and about all I might want out of the Classified is a bit more OC room.
So I'm going to wait......unfortunately my Step-up is history in 10 days......so the next board will be full price......decisions,decisions.![]()
I seriously hope it isn't going to be 450$ on the egg.
They are for sale on EVGA's website already Kyle.
has there even been any conformation on the non-nf200 version? the guy who posted the pics also said he doesn't believe it will be released, and he's the one who got all the dates and info from evga before anyone else did..
also if the motherboard is set to last, the extra 16x lanes might help in the future, as the board is tageted at people who do tri/quad sli, and in the future bandwidth may become a problem, but again i can always be wrong![]()
The "speculation" on evga is that the non and the normal Classified boards MIGHT be ready in a month
The guy who wrote up about the non NF board was "pretty sure" both would be released about the same time.......I'd say it was a guess..........and if it's true.......shame on EVGA, not telling anybody so they can continue to clear out their stock of X58 SLI boards.
AND.....correct, this board is not available for sale anywhere as of yet. This was a paper launch, so some of the early purchasers of the X58 might still qualify for step-up when the board is available.......again, my guess is a month.
I'm going to hold on to my step up spot....if the non NF board is close behind, I'll bail out.
in stock now.. hurry
