EVGA teases a new "iCX Cooler"

Maybe, or just an updated FTW model.

Can't tell from the outside, but it appears to only have an updated backplate without seeing a teardown.

Yet all ACX 3.0 cards come from the factory that way since November 1st.

The ICX backplate is split into two different physical sections, and JayZ2Cents said that it doesn't have juat the four GPU screws holding on the cooler now - it's all the backplate screws, which eliminates cooler sag.

Any more info than that I've not seen.
 


The backplate is vented good deal also has more spacing my 980ti backplate just gets totally hot.
 
99% sure the heatsink itself is the same.
You can also see the pad underneath the fins (part of the pad fix). And he mentions the new plate fins.
