EVGA SuperNova 550W PSU | 80 Plus Gold | Fully Modular | $119.99 $64.99 at Amazon (save $55)

Good enough to power a Vega 64 ? Or get something beefier? Not overclocking at all with a 2700X Ryzen

Good price, but I would only go for a PSU that small on a home office pc, home theater pc, etc. I think it’s pushing 550w too close to the limit with any modern enthusiast-grade parts.

2700x, Vega 64 under full load and assuming a couple of drives on the system you could be pushing around 550w or more. PSUs are less efficient when running close to the rated spec/limit too, so it would be wasting a little extra power in a sense too.

It depends on your system. A 550w 80+ Gold should only get you into trouble if you are trying to use a 6800/6800XT/3080/or a heavy clocked/power maxed 3070. A stock 3070 should be fine. As would a 6700xt.

However, if you are trying to run a Rocket Lake CPU, that could tip things a bit. Ryzen would be fine. 10 series should be fine, as long as you aren't' trying to heavy clock a 10700K or 10900K.

*actually, looks like the 6800 is really efficient. Same power usage as 3070 and 6700XT!

Its also in stock at EVGA for $69 and you can try this code for 10% off, which they post on Reddit

S1UQP0HAKH2GPDI

that code is good for percent off many things. But it varies by product category. Power Supplies are supposed to be 10%
