I paid $280 for the eVGA i680 from Fry's a week ago. After disappearing network ports, slower stable oc then my DS3, 15 degrees hotter case, slow RAID issues and random lock ups without any kind of error message, I returned it to Fry's. I didn't feel like play testing this too-expensive beast any more. When I returned it the clerk didn't ask me one question about it, just printed up and slapped on a reduced price of $228 on it. I almost asked to have the board back to buy it again so I could offer it to anyone who wanted to deal with the issues (maybe new bios revision would help?) - but decided I would probably be wasting my time. If anyone is in the Oxnard area and interested it will probably be on the floor tomorrow (Nov 22nd).
